How to Choose the Best Iron
Flat iron? Although it is much less ironed than in the past, some garments, unlike others, require a necessary pass. Shirts are certainly among these items. How to proceed when buying an iron?
First of all, when you have to choose the best iron, consider the ergonomics, the space available to you, and the autonomy you want. There are two main families of iron models on the market. The most classic is the one with the integrated water tank. Slender, manageable, light, and with less autonomy, ideal for not excessive use.
The second instead includes the boiler separated from the body of the iron. This type of iron takes up considerable dimensions and is more complex to cram than the traditional model. Less space comfort will correspond to greater autonomy. A handy feature if you intend to iron a considerable amount of garments.
Do not forget that from the point of view of performance, the slimmer model will not be at the one with a dedicated boiler level.
Additional characteristics to consider when choosing the best iron are the weight, the presence or absence of the electric cable, and the length. Probably if you are looking for maximum practicality, the models without electric cable and wireless could be your ideal choice. Obviously, the wireless models, with charging stand at least, have a higher average price than their more classic counterparts.
In addition to the aforementioned features, you will consider many other details when you have to choose the best iron.
Among the different models on the market, you can now find several functions, probably the most captivating one anti-drop. If you treat delicate garments and operate at minimum temperatures, you will often notice the formation of drops. The latter moisten the head, and certainly, it would be better to prevent them from forming.
Another feature that could come in handy when choosing the best iron is the anti-limescale one. In this way, you can say goodbye to the purchase of distilled water and use the normal tap water. The limescale will thus not clog your iron but will be expelled through the special drain channel.
