Guide to choosing the best rectangular above ground pools
The different manufacturers of this article, perhaps a bit of a niche, but without doubt of great use, pleasure, and fun, offer catalogs that are always particularly rich in solutions, both for materials and dimensions, but also for shapes, accessories, and design achievements. Without a doubt, there are absolute fixed points at the base of the choice:
- The quality of the product: This must always be ensured by the reliability of the brands specialized in these articles, with companies that have been operating in the sector for a long time and have by now earned the trust of their customers.
- The functionality of the pool: which must necessarily correspond to the needs of each user, especially for those who intend to exploit it with greater particularity for children.
- Convenience: undoubtedly another important factor, although it is always better to remember that, sometimes, spending a little more is still synonymous with excellent product and long life.
- Innovation for models and materials : elements for which the most famous specialized brands are constantly updated, to better adapt to each person, environment and need.
Already on the market for several years, above-ground pools, up until a few years ago, corresponded to small inflatable swimming pools for children, usually round, while now they embrace a wide range of pools for everyone, young and old, in forms that are well, they adapt to any space, not necessarily just green.
Types of rectangular above ground pools
With affordable costs based largely on size and, above all, on the construction materials, rectangular above-ground pools are among the most adaptable, immediately after the classic inflatable pools. Their regular and versatile shape makes them easy and practical to place and decidedly cheaper than in-ground pools of equal size and shape.
As we have said, in addition to the measure, the material is above all the main factor of incidence on cost and, undoubtedly, on aesthetics and duration. The basic type, even in rectangular shapes, is the PVC type which, as we know, is one of the most resistant plastic materials, and which identifies the type of tank as self-supporting.
Then, among the most widespread, there are also the so-called frame structures, in which the pool, of the same base as a self-supporting structure, is supported by a structure of metal posts, with a set up method that makes it stable.
The rectangular walls are always made of plastic material, overlapping three layers of PVC, treated with transparent protective paints against UV rays and the formation of algae, and polyester, while the supporting sheets are in treated steel, resistant to rust and corrosion.
Finally, there are rigid rectangular above-ground pools, no doubt more expensive but with a particular aesthetic, often finished with a vertical profiling that ensures further stability and, in addition, the possibility of not disassembling them at the end of the season, thus leaving them as beautification all year round, even if covered by special protective covers in winter. It is possible to find them in steel sheet, also covered in wood or totally in the latter material, particularly warm and elegant.
Specific measures for rectangular above ground pools
While acknowledging that each manufacturing company has its own identity in presenting the pools of the brand with very different characteristics, it is indisputable that, on standard sizes, all companies base their professionalism and competitiveness on customers who often find themselves able to choose between products that are very similar in size, shapes, materials, and sizes.
And it is precisely these last ones that we want to present the three most widespread, considering more or less wide outdoor environments, according to the needs. We will find, on the market, the following common standard measures:
